I studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama where my teachers were firstly Suzanne Rozsa and then Mark Knight.
I was a founder member of the European Baroque Orchestra in their first year's residency in Oxford. Subsequently, I studied the baroque violin with the late Michaela Comberti and with Elizabeth Wilcock.
Period-instrument performance is an important part of my work, which is mainly concentrated on Baroque and Classical repertoire.
I have free-lanced with virtually all of the UK's 'authentic' orchestras and ensembles, and several European ones.
I also play with the 'Ariodante Ensemble' which is a specialist Kent-based flexible baroque group with voices, strings, wind, and harpsichord.
I enjoy teaching and instrumental coaching and would like to expand this area of my musical activities.
